JD LT155 Quits

I have a John Deere LT155 that quits after an hour or so of running. It won't start back up, I have to wait until it cools, then it starts right away. Any ideas?

Coil??

I would agree that coil would be my first guess, but I did learn this lesson on a CC2155. It would start up, run like a top for about an hour, then quit, no restart until it had sat for a while. I finally checked out the ingnition and got fire but no go. I started tracing down the fuel line and found very small particles of grass had gotten into the system. I remembered that the previous owner had told me that it had a new gas cap as he had lost the old one and just ran it without one. So I blew out the fuel line, replaced the fuel filter and drained and cleaned out the tank. No problems since.
