John Deere 111 # M00111S297957 Bought parts from Dealer Spring # L1142C is for parking brake release. Every JD111 I've seen 1 Early
3 Late [ like mine ] all had rotted springs, with no clue where they went. If anyone could tell me where spring goes, that would sure help.
The dealer had no info on where spring went, said book shows spring quite removed from release lever, I'd buy a manual, can't afford it.
Progress ... Refinished corroded areas,
New Belt [ ugh ! ] R + R steering with new bolts, pan back on, pedistal to follow.
Electrical connections polished, would like to
finish up, and start tearing down second one
[ lesser of 2, but runs good. ]
