Ignition Problem?

I have a Wisconsin TJD mounted on a Yazoo lawnmower. Starts fine, runs for 20-30 minutes, then quits. After it cools, runs for 5-10 minutes, then stops again. My first thought was the coil, so I replaced it but did not fix the problem. Checked and cleaned the carburetor and fuel lines/filter. Problem still there.
I noticed that the copper fuel line from the fuel pump to the carburetor is twisted and causes a restriction, but since it starts and runs fine for the first 20-30 minutes, I didn't think would cause a problem. Could this restriction cause a vapor lock?
Any suggestions would greatly appreciated.

Check for spark immediately after it quits again. If now spark still got a bad coil. Does it have a grounding switch with more wiring or panel mounted stop switch with wire to that? If so check the wiring and switch that may be grounding out. Never connect battery voltage to a magneto will ruin the coil ! FM mag by chance? I've had lots of new FM coils lately bad out of the box. Take the coil back and get another one seems this year they have made a whole batch of bad new ones. Bearings bad in mag letting magnet drag?

Check for fire as soon as it quits before it cools. If it has a condenser I would replace it.
Pull the coil wire out of the cap and hold it near a good ground while someone makes an attempt to start the engine. Could be the coil too. Hal

Sometimes a piece of dirt can get sucked into
a gas line, or the fuel pump, and cause a
blockage. Then when the engine dies, it floats
back into the tank. Possibly a fuel pump valve
is giving problems.
I'd first take off the fuel lines, and blow them
out That twisted line between the fuel pump, and
carb, was caused by the line corroded to the nut,
which twisted the line as someone tried to remove
the nut. If you need a new fuel pump, it's NAPA
part number M73012 I purchased 1 last June for
$57.95

while you are checking the rest of the things that were suggested take a look at the gas tank vent and make sure it is open
