I have a Kohler 25 H.P.command 2 cylinder. A push rod is bent. How do you remove hydralic valve?Should I remove all 4& buff?Only one is sticking.Any information on this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Fay

The valves are not hydraulic but the lifters are. To remove the valves you must remove the heads. If it were mine I would replace the push rod and then mix some 2 stroke oil in the fuel and change the oil to a GOOD quality 10W-30 oil. A synthetic like Mobile ONE would be best. Also change the oil filter. I would make the Fuel/Oil mix fairly heavy and then run the engine about 2000 RPM unloaded until all of the fuel/oil mix is used. I would then return the engine to full service and see what happens.

would be good to check the valve guide for the valve in question to be sure the guide isnt comming out of head causing push rod to bend
have seen this happen due to overheat condition good luck Gary
