I am looking for a briggs or conyinatal engine for my 1946 David Bradley,any ideas where too find one????? THANKS Don

It would be helpful to know what horsepower, PTO setup [ Horizontal / Vertical does it bolt to engine flange [ a la TroyBilt Tiller ] or
mount to a base ? If possible, what engine did it origionally come with ?

Most were labelel as a Sears Model 500 engine with an obvious B&S stamped in the shroud. The 500 is Sears code for a B&S engine Most were Model N's but a 5S is about the same. I have a 5S that was sold as a Sears engine but I will not sell it as it is my birthday engine. A birthday engine is an engine built the same month and year as you were born.
