Case 444 lawn tractor

Has a blade for the front and belley mower. Some question about the hdyl. line which was vage. Selling as is for 400 dollars claims the Kohler runs. The tractor is intack not in a basket. About 25 yrs old? Any thoughts???

If the overall condition of the package is fair, then the asking price is fair also. But that doesn"t mean that you shouldn"t try and haggle for an even lower price. Three $100.00 bills dangling from your fingers will often do the trick because it means the end of his association with a tractor he wants gone.

As long as you understand two things, I"d say go ahead and buy it.

1. You are looking at a tractor package that would cost $8000.00 minimum to replace at the dealer today. These are very well-built machines that have a long lifespan.

2. You are going to have to spend some money on it because it is a 25 year-old tractor with 25-years of use and abuse. Parts are not hard to come by.
