hh100 starter problems

cant seem to get a starter to work right for very long, I may have timming off one tooth but it runs great once it starts so I hate to change it, can I get a high perfomance starter?

If it has point igntion, it may need the points reset, sounds like you have them set a little close and it firing too soon.

The HH100 that have a electronic module uses two pins to dump the coil. I think the pins need to be set, can't remember the clearance right now. Sounds like the one that fires for starting isn't set right.
