bad boy zero turn mowers

has anyone used the badboy z turn from tractor supply i have a chance to buy one for 3999.00 it is normaly4999.00 sumbody had the mower for 2 hours and could not make it up a steep hill in the yard

My neighbor has one and cuts about 3 acres around his house and lake including the dam. He has no problems at all with the up hill pulling. He swears it is the best thing since sliced bread. I know they are tough made mowers.

I have a friend who has one and loves it. He replaced his Kubota 4wd 6' front deck mower with it.

I service them for the local TSC, they are a "heavy built frame" mower, but their weak link is the cheap hydro-transaxle used to drive it. That is why he could not make his hills, they do not have anough pump pressure. You might want to run it before you make the purchase, you might be dissappointed in the lack of performance and the sluggish drive system.

you didnt say what engine it has, but these cheeper zero turns are ok for small yards once a week. they just dont hold up mowing alot of grass every day . real zero turns cost double that. lucas

The Hydrostatic drive makes me wonder, could it be something simple, and stupid like low oil level, or slipping belt ?
