are rototillers legal on this site?

I know you some of you guys work on tillers but I never see any posts on here! Is there another site I should ask my little honda fg100 tiller question? Mine is not a engine question but a transmission question. The brass gear on the shaft that the tines are attached to is shot. Everything else is OK (the shaft and housings). Nowhere can I find where they sell that shaft and gear without buying the whole transmission which is a little over a $100. Does anyone know where they sell the shaft and gear? It"s a easy fix if I had the parts. Thanks and sorry if I"m on the wrong forum...Fred

I'd look for a shop that sells Honda mowers, and go pick their brains for the info! By a shop, i mean some place other than Sears, Leows, HDepot! Those folks only know that you turn a key and it starts--no idea what causes that noise when it cranks!

Thanks for your reply. I thought I had offended someone because I wasn't sure if I was on the right forum when I didn't receive any replies which is what I was trying to avoid in the first place. However on searching the web I found alot of info. reqarding my problem on a Garden Website. From the posts on that site I was able to find a source that sold the parts I needed. Evidently this was a common problem with this model. Honda supposedly addressed it on the newer model FG110. Now I'm trying to find out if I can use the newer design on my tiller which is cheaper. Thanks again for the reply....Fred
