Anyone know what a Sears SS-12, '68 or '69 model, may be worth, runs great, with mower only, v-bar tires, new seat, motor starting to smoke just a little. e-mail if interested.....

I sure dont have the number but a mower shop surely can get the filter for you. When you buy OEM parts, I dont honestly think there is a cheap place. Probably look at a half dozen places and never save anymore than a couple bucks. My Kohler oil filter is 7 to 9 bucks. You can get retrofits for about 3 bucks but I dont think it is worth perhaps damaging an engine for a few bucks difference in the price besides you dont normally change them that often..My 2 cents worth.

No I can't help you but i do have a quick question for you. I have an old lawn tractor that was made by sears or craftsman (i dunno what they called it then) I believe its of 60s vintage its model number is 91725640 its a 14 hp and the original color was, if i remember, blue and white. it was a 4 wheeler an im trying to restore it to new condition for shows.
