Info on Briggs Stratton 18 HP Roper engine

I recently bought a home that came with a 2 cylinder, 18 HP, six speed Roper tractor. It looks to be about 20 years old or so. It has a Briggs & Stratton engine Model #422437 0710, Type 01 84110112. I would like to obtain some information on the tractor and engine as I know little about this. Can anyone provide me with information about the tractor or engine? This would be much appreciated. Also, I would pay for a copy of a manual for the tractor if anyone had one. I had open heart surgery a few weeks ago and recently got back out on the tractor. It is part of the 'healing' process!

Try www.searstractor.com for some info,and there's a site for manuals,www.searspammer.net;I think that's right.Both times you will need your model number.Manuals cost about $7 or $9 bucks,Good luck with your healing!!Dude11

You can go to the PowerShop for engine parts look-up and service manuals.
