Can someone enlighten me to what wire goes where on the ignition switch? There is no plug just individual wires. ON the back of the switch is 5 terminals and they are marked S, B, R, A, I. The S is a terminal that is above the rest of them in a block of 4. Thanks.....Fred

It is a Kohler K341AS. The tractor began dieing while the mower was engaged. Then it would die as soon as the PTO switch was engaged. IT would start back up again and die after running less than a minute. Then it failed to start at all. The seat switch has been disabled and the wiring is a mess under the hood with no plug and individual wires going to the ignition switch. The PTO, Ignition and nuetral switch seem to be doing their job according to my ohm meter. I suspect the wiring. Thanks for the response. The serial no. is 0316G 089056M. ..... Fred

Thanks Chevy65, I thought you had forgotten me! I assume that you are looking at the back of the ignition switch and not the plug. Is R for the wire from the regulator? A for accessory? I for ignition? B for battery? S for solenoid or start? It sure would have been nice if JD would have put the wire diagram in the owners manual with colors and discriptions. I sure appreciate your input. Thanks .....Fred

There's supposed to be a molded plug. Offhand, I can only rmember a couple...

S= "Start" = purple wire.

B= "Battery" = red wire.
