I have a cub cadet 149. I am am looking for its original gross weight when new. When I have it shipped to California, the shipper said it weigh 1150 lbs and I am disputing this. If there is anybody out there who has this info, I appreciate it, The owners manual has no info on weight.

If you have a local mill or business with a scale, you could find the weight real fast.Good Luck.

Ah....found it...
According to the IH Sales Lit of 1972, the 149 had a Shipping Weight of 870 lbs. Now, bear in mind, that weight is crated, with No Fluids, nor any Options.

Well, I looked through my Material and couldn't find anything either...yet. But looking at the 14's (147 & 1450) and comparing, my guess would be in the 800 lb range.
