I'm looking for a snow blade for my 18 HP Ranch King. This garden tractor was made somewhere between 1985 and 1990. Under the hood, the "Lot/Model" number is "148-812-205/B248R" and under the seat the "serial" number is "41-031-4812". Can someone tell me how to interpret the model/serial numbers so I can know which blade and/or parts match? I just emailed someone who's selling a 48" blade for an 800 series tractor, but he thinks that mine isn't an 800 series. Anybody have any hints?

Contact MTD on their website. I had a similar situation with a snowthrower attachment that they helped me solve. If you get the model number from them there is a good chance that the owner"s manual for the blade will be available for free download.
