Its probably a Gilson Brothers made tractor.Gilson was bought by Lawn Boy back in the 80s,Lawn Boy was bought by TORO in the 90s.Gilson made all Wizard outdoor equipment in the 70s.All the antique looking snowthrowers, riding mowers, and fine line of tractors and all.We bought a GIS76223 tractor back in '78,and it still runs and looks like new (after a repaint).Solid machinery at a decent price.Shame Gilson couldnt have survived.

"Wizard" was the Western Auto tradename of the tractors they sold,Most(not all)were MTD manufactured units. There are also some AYP built units here and there.Going way back I believe there were some Gilson and Yardman(pre MTD)units which carried the Wizard name.
