I was wondering how the clutch comes off the bottom. I am replacing the drive belt and pulleys on the transaxle and motor and it needs to come off. I have the bolt out of the center and was wondering where I should mount a gear puller or if there is something else like a set screw I'm missing. Thanks - Jeff

with the bolt out, the clutch SHOULD just slide off. however, they tend to rust to the crank. i would put the bolt all the way in by hand, then 1/2 turn out. spray a little penetrating oil between clutch and crank. smack the bolt with a hammer one good shot (hit square). that should freee it up. the next step is to take two flat nail pullers-wonder bars- and pry between the top of trans pulley and frame and pry. you may have to do both at once. sand up crank and clutch and coat end of crank with never-sieze.
