It has a short,a as when you turn the key to try to start the engine, it blows the main fuse.. The switch that came on it was rusted and wouldn't turn. I put a new switch on and the same thing. Any ideas I can try?

On my 446 Case I had the same problem. The first notch on the switch was for headlights, but you had to get past it to start tractor. It turned out to be a shorted headlite wire that was grounded, which i never noticed because i never use the headlights. Checked wires and found 1 grounded. Taped them up and solved problem. HTH
