I need to replace the transmission on my old Montgomery Ward ridy mower it has a vertical shaft engine the engine drives a pully on the bottom of the transmission and there is a drive sproket with a chain on the side of the gear box. Can I still by a gear box made like this? Thanks for any help. Richard.

Peerless is part of Tecumseh, if you haven't already been told. So that is the place to look.
