Update on JD 345 sticking hydro pedals

504 had it right. It appears that the foot mat has shifted toward the rear somehow over time, and is now rubbing on the reverse pedal. I slathered the pedals with WD40 and that seems to take care of the sticking for now. Will probably end up making the same fix as he did - removing the mat and trimming the holes out a bit. Too cold last night to mess around with the plastic tabs on the mat.

Thanks!

Maybe not. Now it seems to want to stick again. I am going to have to do the same as you - pull the mat off and enlarge the pedal slots.

Got this done last weekend - but was not as easy as I thought. I could not get the rear of the mat out of the space between the floor board and the fender. Ended up lifting the front of the mat up and cutting out the pedal holes a bit more with a coping saw, then smoothing the hole with a small wood rasp. But eventually got it done, without busting any of the tabs on the bottom of the mat.

Thanks for the tip!
