John Deere 316 Onan engine won't start

I removed the Rear PTO and complete wiring harness for the rear PTO from my John Deere 316 with the Onan engine (transmission is the same as the 318 and 420). After I removed the wiring harness the tractor will not start with the key switch (no voltage detected at the trigger wire to the solenoid). If I turn the key on and jump it across the battery posts of the solenoid it will start and run. I am not that savvy with wiring, so I was hoping there is someone out there that may have a trick up their sleeve, or has run into the same problem and could share how they fixed the problem. Thank you in advance, Jack

You must have removed the switch for the rear PTO, as well.

Find the connector that was formerly connected to the rear PTO switch (X5) and install a jumper wire (725) exactly as shown and your problem should be solved.

NO genius involved, I've just been through it before, LOL!
