Front wheel bearings were frozen up so I replaced them, all 4 of them. They are sealed roller bearings. With no weight on the tires the bearings spin on the spindle axles. With the tractor off the jack and weight on them they seem to spin on the bearings not the axle. How tight should the inner race of the bearings fit on the axle? Should it be a press fit or a drive fit or should they bee loose like they are? I'm not sure how long the old bearings were turning hard. The spindle axles have some wear but I'm not sure how much.
