Jacobsen Chief 1200 garden tractor and attachments

I worked this excellent Jacobsen hard in the '80s and '90s. Developed a problem with the 4-sp transmission, and the cast aluminum 42" mower deck had lots of patched cracks. Have all the manuals, and a 42" trip dozer blade and 10" plow with lift hitch. Kohler engine K-301, front and rear cast iron wheel weights, and power drive clutch. Been parked under cover for 15-20 years. Engine was good when I parked it, had cleaned it up and changed the oil for storage. Tires shot, been sitting on them too long.

It's free if you want to pick it up. If you want me to pull parts and ship them, I'll charge for that. I'm on a small island west of Orcas in the San Juans, Washington state.

(quoted from post at 16:19:33 02/18/23) I have bought Jake built Jake, Ford, MM and White, late 60's to early 70's and traveled to Ohio and
Illinois but you are a bit far for even a free one. LOL Darn.

Hi John, Yeah, darn! Any parts you might want/need?
Fred

Hi Fred,
Thanks for the offer. I have several other Jake builts that can provide any used parts that I might
need. I should really do what you are trying to do.
I find it interesting that I see so few of these lawn tractors at shows. My '71 Ford (Jake) served me
very well.

Hi John, Sorry you are so far away! These Jacobsens were well-designed excellent machines! Too bad they are so old.
