just purchased 2 bolens tractors a 1476 and another unkn

the unknown has a wisconsin s14d single cyl in it with a hydro drive, the 1476 has a twin cyl kohler in it and is hydro as well with a johnson loader mounted on it, neither has run in a long time, are they good enough machines to put money in or better to trade up to something newer, thanks for any input and advice

not yet will try to get some on here the one with the twin has a k482s engine

Old Bolens were great tractors I'd definitely try to get them up and running especially the one with the loader

Those old Bolens were rugged machines. Dad had a couple back in the 60's and 70's. Locking rear end, 2 range tranny. He plowed our long driveway and those of several elderly neighbors for several years. And we used it in the garden to hill and cultivate potatoes, and pulled an old horse drawn drag. Wish I had kept the 900 he gave me.
