Just a FYI: I put a repro. glass filter bowl assembly on a Koher K series tonight that leaked gas rightfrom the start. The rubber gasket was already failing. Very thin and seemed to be oversize or swollen up.
I had a fuel cap gasket from an Echo SRM 225 that fit the bowl perfectly and worked fine. This might help if you are trying to fix an existing Briggs or Kohler filter bowl assembly. I don't know how long it will last, but since it is for a fuel tank, it should be good for a while.
