Husqvarna 2654 deck question

Good evening!! Was sitting here thinking about my noisy mower? The electric clutch is making a noise, wondering if that clutch is rebuildable?

Even those that don't have snap rings can have the bearings replaced. At least some, they have the bearing pressed into a stamped sheet metal housing then staked in several places. I've removed the staking with a sharp cape chisel. Then drive the old one out and press a new one in place. Create new staking with the same cape chisel.

Thank you both for the good info! Now to tear into it to find bearing number. When this heat wave calms down some.

What makes a Cape type chisel unique. I never saw one or heard of one and am curious as to their uniqueness.

I had to google it, it's a narrow chisel that I think was used to hand cut a keyway, I think I have one in my dad's tool box. I think you could grind a small chisel to accomplish what you need to do.

I've had one for years, works slick for peeling brass bushings out. I thought that's what it was for.
