I recently picked up a TroyBilt rider, has a 50 inch deck. When I turn it,. I can see the front wheels sliding some. Acts like a 'solid axle'. but is's not, at least each wheel spins freely when off the ground. Under power I don't know what a CVT rearend does in a tight turn??? Thanks

It could be something binding in the transmission, but if it is the style TroyBilt I think it is, those had a lot of problems with the steering linkage wearing and getting the steering geometry off, which allowed the tires to skid. The bigger decks tended to wear out faster too, because they were heavier.

Do the front tires tend to get exaggerated toe in when backing up?
