Wore Out, you were right on the money. That long little orifice/jet was plugged at the very bottom. Holes
above the bottom were open. Took a strand of vehicle wiring to clear the bottom opening. Two strands would
not fit in the opening. Never did see what was blocking it, but could not be much!

Tank of carb was remarkably clean. Needle and seat looked fine. Needle was Vitron tipped but no wear noted.

NOTHING like success/a simple quick fix!

Beats the heck out of what it takes to remove the carburetor for cleaning from that particular engine.

Thanks for posting back, the next guy who searches the archives with a similar problem will thank you for it!
