John Deere 112 Wheel Play

A JD 112 followed me home. It's kind of rough but was cheap. The rear wheels have a little bit of wiggle but not huge. How much wear is too much and should I expect the axle shaft or hub casting to be worn, or both? It will be pulling a Swisher mower and a garden trailer and maybe a sweeper if one needs a home for the right price not plowing snow or the garden.

Wear will only get worse. Current actual status can be deceptive.
Generally, the hubs are softer than the axle and most of the wear will be in the hubs.
There are good tight hubs available on the auction site or on the WFMachines site.

My brother wore a 200 out so that it needed all 4.
Axle shaft wore @ bearing and splines, bearing itself, and hub splines.
If it's bearings, continued using, could also ruin the transaxle housings.
That machine lived it's life with calcium, wheelweights and chains but I was able to bring it back
to use. Heavy, tough machine, otherwise.
