Low oil warning

While using my Cub Cadet GT2542 lawn tractor today The low oil warning started blinking.
I parked it on a level surface & checked the oil by removing the dip stick, wiping it clean, reinserting it, pausing, & removing it again. It was up to the full mark.
It Does not leak nor does it burn any oil.

This is a Kohler Model CH750 with a low oil warning light.
The engine has 995 hrs. on it.
My question is, where is this unit located? It doesn't show in my illustrated parts manual.

Thanks for any help.

You will probably need to take the main top cover off the engine to get to it. Same side as oil filter it will have a wire going to it. Pic is what that unit looks like.

The sw you're looking is like the one J Hamilton posted a pic of and is located on oil breather cover, this is the oil sentry system used on most ch750 engines on lawn/garden tractors, when the oil pressure drops below 3-5 lbs the sw contacts CLOSE lighting the light, most probable cause's of light turning-sw going bad,plugged/defective oil filter, worn oil pump, worn internal parts causeing loss of oil pressure, goto kohler website and see if you can download a service manual for CH750 eng,in manual it will tell you how lube system works and how to test pressure sw.

OK, OPERATOR ERROR, upon closer inspection the warning light says CHG OIL.

I didn't think it was that time yet. I will do it tomorrow.

Thank you for the help.

Are you seeing CHG followed by the letters OIL then some numbers?

If so. The machine is set to flash "change oil" after 50 hours of operation. It just a reminder that the engine has ran 50 hours and an oil change is recommended. The meter can be reset (not up on how for Cubs) with or without doing an oil change. I do not keep up with hours of operation on my mower. I just change the oil at the start of mowing season in the Spring and again at the end.

Yes to the below comments. My Kohler does the same thing, note that when you change the oil / filter, it has no effect on that flashing light. The light will reset after a few hours, anyway. First time this flashing light happened I panicked.
