case 222 running rough

SO today i was blowing snow with my case 222 and it started running rough. Noticed gas coming out of the air filter seemed like it flooding itself. where should i go from here.

The carburetor float may be "heavy"/failed or (more likely) there may simply be a bit of trash/debris in the carburetor inlet valve "needle and seat".

The fact that is is a "CASE" really doesn't mean much, the engine is a Kohler and you can download the engine shop manual complete with troubleshooting info for FREE at the following link

While you are at it, do your engine a favor and set the breaker point gap/ignition timing as detailed in the manual.
