my husband has a Little Beaver Garden tractor that is supposed to be one of the oldest garden tractors ever made. Any info anyone.
It had a lever to steer with, he replaced that with a steering wheel. He also added a starter. It still has most of the original parts. My husband is sick with emphysemia, and I have begun to sell his lifetime collection of stuff.

I have a beaver garden tractor it is a 1950 or 51. I just bought it about a year ago at one of our annual shows. I bought it in peices and have restored it since then. I would be interested in buying this unit if you still have it. I also would like to hear from you. Thank You

There is a club for Beavers on Yahoo! clubs.yaho.com

Also there is a site that you may be able to get an email address. Go to www.antique-tractors.com and go to the Garden Tractor Page then follow a link to Jauques L&G page. There should be something in the photos section.
