Hi, my Poulan Pro was sqealing when I changed direction too fast or came down hill with load on trailer. My Grandson found that 2 bolts that anchor the transaxle had become loose and allowed the torque to twist it and the fan rubbed making that squealling rrrrr sound. Bolts replaced and now working fine. Just fyi. Ed Will Oliver BC

Hurray! If you read the discussion about locktite a few days ago,"tool talk", try some nail polish on the cleaned bolt threads. It really works and if needed you can get the bolts out without trying to snap them off. Go buy a couple of colors at the dollar store. Couple of months ago I marked the three phase wires on the contactor in a big dish machine. Made the point to point wiring job very easy. Three different colors for L1,L2,L3. Nothing like 2hp pump motors running backwards cause you goofed up.

Jeffcat, good idea! For loctite and color coating. I have some glasses that the temple frames have worn and leave green stains on my temple hair. I coat the frames with clear polish and it lasts a bit. Another use for nail polish. Ed Will Oliver BC
