Been too busy to keep my junk running, whats your opinion of John Deere X394? approx $6000.

A 394 is an All Wheel Steer with a 22 hp air cooled Kawasaki. List price on that was $6099 in 2016 according to Tractor Data.
If you've never had an AWS, they are a little different to drive and takes a little getting used to. I just got a 455 AWS and I really like it. When you mow around trees and other things, it doesn't tear up the ground like a normal one would, but I did manage to cut off some flowers going around a corner.

Thanks for reply, worked a total of 4hrs to tweak my 226 and now have a decent mower setup. Saved $6000.+ by not buying another mower! Takes some getting used to going from hi wheel Case(448) to short profile(226). If Kubota made a high wheeled diesel 2wd There would be one in my shed. john
