Does any body know cub cadet 149 hydro trans filter number wix i am getting 51410 sound correct

By application, WIX lists #51084.

Crossing one of the OEM numbers, 395789 R2, WIX shows #51410.

Gonna GUESS either will work, both are 21 micron filters.

If it is the original take a little care. They really screwed them on tight! Almost busted a couple of knuckles when I changed mine.

I'm a firm believer in OEM parts including filters. Many times "will fit" parts and filters ain't no bargin.

I have to check but I THINK those 2 WIX filters are the same, only difference is overall length. just like the old cars and trucks, the newer ones went to a shorter filter, as long as the body/frame doesn't interfere, you can use the longer version.... will only give you a little more filtering surface area.

The Wix 51084 and the 51410 may look similar in appearance, but internally are way different. The 51410 is the ONLY one that meets Cub Cadets and Sundstrand specifications.
