Hey guys... I have a question about my MF 14 tractor. It has a Kohkler K321s Spec. # 60150d My tractor manual, and all the literature I find on line says the motor holds 2 qts.of oil. I changed the oil yesterday and put in 2 qt. When I checked it, it was way over full. I had to remove about 12 oz. to bring it down to the full mark. I just had this motor rebuilt, and the small engine shop replaced the dipstick. Now I am questioning the dipstick. I was curious to know if someone with the same tractor actually knows what these engines should hold. If possible, I would like to have someone measure their dipstick to see if my new one is the same length. Mine measures 4 3/4 inches from the top of the black cap. I am afraid I threw my old one away, but am going to check the garage anyway. Thanks for any help. Greg

Both of my Kohlers hold 2 quarts, oil pans are 2 1/2 inches I think. A 10 and a 14 horse. I'll measure the dipstick tomorrow if I think about it.

Thanks gab. I measured my sump on my 14. It is also 2 1/2 inches deep. Along with the dipstick being 4 3/4 inches long, I also should have mentioned that the full mark is slightly more than 1 3/8 inches up from the bottom tip of the dipstick. Greg

Wouldn't do any good to measure my dipsticks, think I have had 4 Kolhers, one dipstick screwed into the block, one tube was pressed into the block, the one in the picture bolts to the back of block and is as tall as the head and the last one also bolts on the back of block and comes out at a 45 degree angle.
