I currently have 23x10.5x12 tires on tractor cubcadet 149. Will 23x8.50x12 fit on rim

8.50 width tires were commonly mounted on 7" wide rims, and 10.50 width tires were mounted on 8.5" wide tires.
Do you know the width of your rims?
That being said, I've replaced 8.50's with 10.40's on DEEREs with acceptable results.
Would be interesting to know the width of those rims and yours.

If your rims are 7" bead to bead then yes.

I was also told there on rims from a cub 86 maybe the rims and tires interchange?

The rims from an 86 model would bolt onto your 149.
But an 86 is only 8hp and would have come with 8.50 or less tires.

Hello sir, I'm new to this and have some
questions about a little tractor I picked
up. It's a Jim Dandy. Have pics and a pic
of the serial number plate. Unfortunately
the old fella I got it from painted the
dang thing green years ago, but has a plow
and tire chains and that's what I'm going
to use it for. If anyone can help me, I
would like to know the year, value, and
possibility of getting implements. Thanks a
