Fore runner...made in Georgia I believe.

There were also two sizes. The small one was about the size of a
normal push mower. The bigger one was amost the size of a wheel
barrow. Think it was self powered. They had a damn ugly snapper turtle
cast head on the front of the machine like a hood ornament. Very ugly
but collectable. Go figure. Have seen both in a guys junk out back of
his place. Never bothered to do anything with them. Shame. The
earliest snapper rider i had was a 1971 model. The movie forest gump
had the identical mower to mine. The one he was riding around was a
perfect restoration. Tachumse motor with metal side mount gas tank.
They are a very rugged little machine and very minimalist. Change the
blade?? Just flip it up on it's butt.

Mom has a self propelled in the shed,motor is free.

Snappin Turtle also made self-propelled walk behind mowers. They look very similar to the riders.
