I'm looking for a front snow plow for JD 755,855 or 955 tractor built in 80's-90's. I know JD made the 380 blade for the 55 series and are hard to find. Did anyone made a aftermarket blade for this tractor or will some other like JD 450 series fit ? Thanks

there is a few on craigslist in des moines ,,even has a 4' box blade for $700.. do not know where you are but check local states near you

Yeah, I've been following CL but nothing shows up in the Northwest US, that's why I was hoping to have more choices from other models for blades

I took an old Meyers snow blade from a truck and cut it down and made the brackets to mount it on our model 750. Wasn't too hard to do.
I know finding used implements to fit discontinued tractor models is really hard to do. And even if you do find the right implement JD made so many different style of brackets too. You don't always get the brackets or the proper brackets.

Yes. For the angle the original cylinders were used. I bought a small 2 way hyd. cyl. from surplus center and made a bracket to attach it to the front weight bracket to use for the lift.
