I had to cut off my electric clutch on my troybilt riding mower, model 609, b&s 17hp ohv intek engine. Can I replace the electric clutch and pulley with a double pulley? If so, what part number would I use? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Go on Ebay and look up electric clutch. There is an outfit in Florida called Extreme. Good product and just give them a call. They can match anything you have. Very happy with the one on my machine. Nicely made too.

Yes you can replace the electric PTO with a dual pulley system. It would not be worth the effort tho.

By the time that you bought the pulley along with all of the levers, rods, tension idlers, springs, related parts and possibly you will need a deck for a manual PTO setup. It would be cheaper and much easier to just replace the electric PTO.
