When I pull the electric PTO switch it may engage for hours, not at all, or somewhere in between. There is no rhyme or reason; hot, cold, humid, dry, etc. does not seem to make a difference.
It may engage, then I jump off to grab something, get back on, and then click, click, click - nothing.
Everything else works great but the Engine to deck belt has smoked and/or broken twice in the past 2 seasons.
I replaced the switch hoping ... but no change. I assume its the clutch but hoping for a fix that wont cost $3-400.
I appreciate any input/advice! I am not a mechanic but going to try this repair!
