carb briggs-stratton engine

I went to start my weed eater and discovered the little rubber primeer has a hole in it. its a 3 1/2 horse briggs so can you replace that rubber piece or do I need to replace the carb. thanks norm

Need to know what engine. But most just have a lock ring that holds the bulb in. Just pop the ring out and change the bulb.

And or.....some have a couple of tiny screws that hold down a plate where that bulb goes. You need to remove the carb to get at the back screw. It is an adventure. They usually go for $ 3 or 4 a piece. Make sure everything is spotless clean.
