Simplicity PTO switch

Have a MF2722 garden tractor (Simplicity Conquest) I think.? Electric clutch will not engage. Clutch seams to be good ( works when jumping direct from battery).Brake switch seems to work.(won't start unless brake is on) Seat switch seems to work(won't keep running unless sitting on seat. Won't start unless PTO switch is off , But PTO lite will never come on. Any Ideas Thanks

This may be completely off the wall, and dumb. But I fixed several switches on my Cub Cadet that did not operate, by simple spraying lots of PB Blaster into the switch. I think it lubes things, blasts off dust and corrosion, removes corrosion... anyway, now I spray PB on every electrical thing I install or work on, Works for me.

The PTO switch is really two switches in one.
Yours may be burned out or corroded on the side that turns the PTO on,
but still working on the safety switch side.
