Kohler k301 Carb vs K341 carb

will a Kohler K321 K341 Cast Iron 14hp 16hp Engine Carb work on a kohler k301 12hp
Any help appreciated

If the throttle shaft hooks up to the governor link the same way, I think you can do that. There are at least 2 different throttle shafts. You may probably have to adjust the fuel mix a little leaner. If there is a difference, it may also feed a little too much on acceleration and blow a puff of smoke.
Keep in mind that in some cases a different carburetor may interfere with mounting the air cleaner-the choke shaft hits the air cleaner. So among the K-series Kohlers, not all fits all.
