Onan engine swap in AC 616

I want to swap parts from a low hour Onan generator to a Onan tractor engine,CCKA,CCKB. Generator ran 1800 rpms, the engine needs 3600 rpms. I know I need to swap the steel rods. What about the camshaft and governor? What is needed here. Thanks tracy

Get boomer all the information you can. He will need it to get the correct information. I have been with Onan since 1980. But I work mostly on the generators.Engine power units are a different world. I believe you will need to change the cam not sure if the rods can be swapped.
