Part number help needed

Have a 38" john deere mower deck off a LX173 that needs bushings where the rear of the deck mounts to the tractor. They were like 1/2" long white with a 3/8" inside hole. My numbers are just a guess as they are still on the tractor. They hold back a spring when you pull out the "U" steel pin. I need these for my MIL so any help would be good thanks.

Built my own when I rebuilt the damaged deck on my big Husqvarna. You need a piece of 3/8 steel pipe. Nothing more than that. Just cut things to length. That spring loaded "U" shaped thing is called a "Suspension pin". You will need to run a 1/2 inch drill bit through the center VERY Slowly so it will not catch. Cleans the internal weld bead out so your pin will work. Did both of mine and made new pins too. Works perfectly. I'll send you a bill in the morning.

My internet is slow today so I can not get the JD parts web site up. You should be able to look them up by searching for 173, the tractor / mower should be their..

I had those come up when I searched as well as others. The ones I have are white but who cares. I pick some of those up and when I have the deck off again I get them changed over. Bear to remove when they don't work like they ought to. Thanks for the help.

Are these what he is talking about? Sorry, Not what any of my machines
have and two of them are Deeres. Something like that on my decks are
just a heavy bar and if the hole gets a little egg shape you weld it
shut, grind the bar smooth, and then redrill the holes. If you take
care they come out very nicely. Misunderstood.
