we need to write a book on this forum in regards to the "first time i ever seen this" mowed a 1/2 acre out back yesterday and it was flawless,,,fired right up this afternoon to cut along the driveway,, dropped the deck ,,hit the pto switch ,,and proceded 30 feet cutting the grass and had a big back-fire,,lost power and shut right down,,game over..spooled up the un-breakable hood and at first glance th carb looked tilted .. ihad to measure it to be sure and sure enough the 2 carb mounting scews had come loose and the carb was seperated from the engine a full 1/2 inch...i know there is no way that occured in the 5 minutes that i had run it to get it from ther shed to the driveway..i must of rebuilt that carb. 3 yrs. ago like i have never had done before!!
