Simplicity PMing

I purchased a Simplicity 5216 2 years ago.
Sharpened the blades and lubed all the points I could find on the deck and underside linkages and front end earlier this week.
I do not have a manual so I have a couple Qs.
Does the hydrostatic drive require any attention like changing oil or ? I see a drain plug.
Are there any grease fittings on the rear end?
On the deck, I found grease fittings on only two of the three blade shaft spindles. The left side spindle didn't have a fitting. How does this get lubed and is this the way they all are?
Note this is a tractor that lives a pretty easy life. Last year I think I mowed 4 times all year - grass doesn't grow much in the northwoods of Wisconsin.

Well I can add a little. The mower deck mandrels are sealed bearings or tapered cone and race bearings . All of the machines I have are sealed ball-bearing. Those zirk fittings are baloney on my machines. Your could be different but you need to ask the dealer or pull one of your mandrels apart. If they are sealed or open you will find out. Every three or four years just pull the deck and change all of the bearings. They just pop out and you can buy a whole sleeve of ten on ebay for the cost of one at the part store. All of my machines take 6202 and 6204 double sealed. Takes a good afternoon. Also check the bearings in the idler pulleys for noisey bearings. If noisey replace them. I'm just saying that is not that hard to do and you can give your deck a good going over. Maybe the belt needs a change too? Just my machines. Now I can tell you there may be a problem with that filter. You can't get them. There is some filter in Europe that fits but it will not work. Something about the pressure releaf valve spring or flow direction. Leave the old one on and just change the oil. This is what I have heard so you may want to check your dealer parts counter. Another thing, you should be able to download a PDF file from Simplicity web site. It is law they must provide them. Hope all of this information is accurate and helpful.

If you can get it I put them into a download file in my smart phone. Really eazy. That way your tractor manual is in your pocket! I have close to 30 manuals in mine. Very handy and hopefully you won't misplace it. ;) let us know how you make out. That deal with the filter I just happen to pick up from two service guys chewin the fat this past Sunday. They both are mechanics.
