How to install the mower deck on a 212

Anyone have photos of how to install a 47" deck to a 1978 deere 212. Having problems. Thanks Joe

Joe, it's less difficult that most people make it the first time they do it.

There will be a video on youtube, and a written description with pictures on the Weekend Freedom Machines website.

Before you start, make sure your deck height adjuster (the black knob thing under your left thigh when you are sitting on the
tractor) is free and your belt tensioner the t-handle thing on the front of the frame is loosened.

I hook up the front draft plate, then hook the 2 arms from the deck to the tractor. You may need to lift the deck
some. Install the drive belt, then hook the 2 lift arms to the deck. Again you may need to lift the deck manually.
Make sure your lift lever is down to help with this final process.
