Having a hard time finding some tires for my Troy Bilt tractor.
They are 28x8.5x12
There is one place online that has them for 140 bucks but they are the only place I have been able to find them. Tire places laugh at me and Carlisles web site doesn't have anything listed.
Any ideas?

Take a better look at the numbers on the side. It probably says 23x 8.50 x12 which is a
standard size for most GTs

Several of my GT Tractors have 23x9,5x12. . My larger machines are
23x10.5x12. You sure the 9.5 wouldn't work? It would have only a very
tiny bit larger profile. You can find them in a decent lawn tractor
junk yard.

Oh crud I hate when I read something and get it wrong. I don't ever remember seeing 28 tires. Measure with a tape measure from top to bottom. That will give you the diameter. Is it really 28? Can't even find that size on ebay.

The rim diameter is a must. The OD is to be considered. The tire width (when inflated to recommended pressure) can be all over the
place. If you don't know which is which in some peculiar tire types, just google the question on that type tire and get your answer.

You can find ATV tires to fit most Garden tractors and get a much better tire at a cheaper price.

Example if you are truely looking for a 28 -8.5-12 tire.

STI Outback XT Tire 28-9-12 6 ply tire = $120 +/-..
