I have a round fender JD 110 and the transmission jumps out of 4 th gear occasionally. Is there any easy fix? I have another tranny that will fit but didn't want to change it out unless I have to. Thanks for your hep.

Probably have a broken detent spring. Cost around $1.00, but you need to remove the transmission and split it to replace. There are 2 springs on the shifter shafts. Best to replace both while it's apart.
 
Thanks Mark, I'll give that a try since I got to pull it out anyway. I may put the other tranny under the tractor and tear this one down at a later date when I need it. Ha, maybe never!!!
